Early Canadian settlers created the distillation industry in the 1790s with barley and wheat from England used as primary grains to make Canadian Whisky. However, rye, brought by the Germans and Dutch, would become the signature grain of Canadian Whisky.

When Canadian distillers began adding small amounts of highly flavorful rye grain to their mashes, people began demanding this new rye-flavored whisky, referring to it simply as rye”.

My mission is to provide a great educational and entertaining experience by guiding the tasting experience. Due to alcohol law in the state of Georgia, the host/hostess must make all alcohol purchases. However, whisky suggestions can be provided upon request.
